The Great Decisions discussion series on foreign policy issues will start on February 6, 2018. We will be meeting every Tuesday in February and March at 9:30 a.m. in the McChesney Room at the Central Branch, 99 Clinton St., Schenectady. Each meeting is about a different topic, so you may attend any or all of them.
The program is free of charge and is sponsored by the national, non-partisan, Foreign Policy Association (www.fpa.org). The FPA provides a video introducing the main issues, which is played during the first half hour of each meeting. The FPA also publishes a discussion guide, which contains a comprehensive, balanced 10-page review of each topic. The published guide is very helpful, but not mandatory. The guide will be available for purchase (by check only) in mid-January at the Central Library Reference Desk.
