Junior Friends

The Junior Friends  is a program for youth aged 13-18 where students can volunteer at the library, working with online sales tasks such as selling, sorting and researching books, and shelving items in the library and in the Whitney Book Corner. Students may also opt to work the register at the Whitney Book Corner, as well as be a part of events there and at the library.

Recently the Junior Friends participated in the Charlie Brown, Edgar Allan Poe and Harry Potter Open Houses at  the Whitney Book Corner. Some of them helped serve ice cream at the Zucchini Brothers show in August. The Junior Friends represented the Friends of the Library at the opening of the Bornt Branch library and participated in the 50th Anniversary Gala in April.
